I’ve always been a little sceptical about Electric / Electronic Drum Kits simply because they’re just not the same as a traditional acoustic Drum Kit. But I reckon companies such as Roland with their V-Drum products are almost on the money with producing the right feel and sound to make me seriously consider purchasing an Electronic Drum Kit. Maybe I’ve been ignorant to the vast improvements over the years, but at least I hope that’s about to change.

I thought I’d write a post that simply lists all the brands of Electric Drum Sets that I could find. I figured if you were looking to find more information on Electric Drum Sets and were considering to buy one for yourself, it might help to know how many brand possibilities there are to choose from. I think this is important to know before making a purchase decision as your local Drum Shop may only stock one or two brands and you might think there is limited choice out there.
