Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive Double Bass Drum Pedal Review
Today I had a look at the new Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive Double Bass Drum Pedal and let me tell you, I was impressed! It sure is a pretty little piece of equipment.
Pearl believes it is “THE FASTEST, SMOOTHEST, MOST VERSATILE PEDAL IN THE WORLD”.
The Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive features what is called “Duo-Deck”, which is the world’s first convertible footboard – meaning you can adjust the pedal to be shortboard or longboard based, depending on your personal preference. What an absolute genius idea!?!
But this isn’t the only awesome feature the Eliminator sports. It also has:
The Click Lock prevents the tension knob from loosening. Simply flip up for adjustment
The Aluminum Traction Dots are fully adjustable to vary the amount of slip or grip for your playin
Loosen and rotate to desired footboard height. Rotation is clearly indexed for optimal repeatable
The standard Control Core Felt and the optional wood beater feature anti-vibration elastomer core.
Check out the video below for the full run down of this incredible Drum Pedal by Pearl.

i want one but give the double pedals
Hey Randall,
Thanks for commenting.
You can order the double pedal here http://locatereviews.com/217767044
Looks nice, but nothing that hasn’t been done before aside from the split to longboard conversion. The Ninja bearings are not going to make a noticable difference. I have installed even higher grade ceramic bearings on eliminators and there is no noticable difference. The Direct link adjustment is their attempt at making the variable cam Axis came up with a long time ago which is infinately variable. Too bad they had to work around the Axis patent and offer only 2 positions. Anyway again these look nice and I am sure they play great, however there really isn’t an advantage over other top of the line pedals.

Actually bro, the longboard conversion isnt the only thing, you can convert the double into two singles without having to buy anything. Don’t comment on a pedal that you dont even own, I have the double, and I can say, after owning about 10 different pedals that the Demons are by far the quickest without giving away any “feel” under the foot. The advantage over the axis, the dw 9000s and 5000s is that unlike the 9000, you can actually feel the pedal under your foot and as a result control them better, and unlike the axis, they actually spring back quickly.
I just got the double pedal yesterday, hoooolly cow is it ever fast. I was suprised by how natural the pedals still felt, really nice and loosy goosy. Of course that's 1 out of 1000 options for feel. Very happy, this pedal is a lifetimer for sure.
SOLID, FAST, WELL BUILT, A MUST-HAVE.
IT DOES COST A LITTLE BIT, BUT DIFFICULTLY YOU WILL THINK YOU HAVE THROWED AWAY YOUR MONEY.
THIS IS THE SMOOTEST, FASTEST PEDAL I'VE EVER TRIED. I TRIED THE AXIS, BUT IF AS A SINGLE IT'S REALLY FAST, AS A DOUBLE NOT SO.. PEARL IS SUPER-CUSTOMIZABLE, LEFT FOOT WORKS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER RIGHT SINGLE PEDAL YOU CAN FIND AROUND AND SO IT SEEMS TO PLAY ON A 2 SINGLES PEDALS, BUT IF YOU LIKE YOO CAN CONVERT YOUR DOUBLE IN 2 SINGLES TOO.
OVERALL – I THIED IRON COBRA, ELIMINATOR, DRAGONFLY AND 5000, NO ONE CAN BE AS FAST AS THIS.
Can I know how much it will cost me to have this master piece?
$649 from zZounds.
I adore your blog very much. Will read more. Keep up to excellent work on it. Gracias
