TAMA, Paiste cymbals, Vic Firth or Pro-Mark drum sticks, Pinstripe heads, Axis double bass drum pedals, Alesis DM Pro drum module, Crown amplifiers, Mackie soundboards, TOA speakers (they don't make them anymore, but I like my old ones).
References :
My setup in the studio is pretty much the same as the tour setup. I used Tama Rockstar for years, but switched about 4 or 5 years ago to Sonor. I've stuck with Aquarian drumheads for years. Nothing beats them. Also stuck with Sabian cymbals and hardware, Vater sticks, and several Latin Percussion side pieces. Sabian has a much richer sound than the other brands of cymbals, especially playing live and playing hard rock. As for why I switched drum brands, Tama got too expensive and too fancy. As far as I know, they stopped making the basic Rockstar drums. Sonor was the closest thing - in terms of the sound and quality. (Better prices too!) I tried Yamaha drums once - I liked them too.
References :
I use:
Sabian Cymbals.
Axis Percussion Bass drum pedals
Vic Firth Drumsticks
Extreme Isolation Headphones

I use cheap drums though.

As for great drummers:
Gene Hoglan
George Kollias
Nicholas Barker
Mike Portnoy
Joey Jordinson is DEFINITELY NOT a good drummer.
References :
It has been a very long time but, Seems like I always used Ludwig.
I've got one in the attic that is about 40 years old. (!)
